Plastic bags are always my problem after shopping.  Every time I’m done shopping, especially grocery shopping, I find it hard to just throw the plastic bags away so I keep them. The thing is, they are piling up and it becomes unsightly.

With campaigns on recycling and greener earth, I find it easy to find a solution to my problem.

Recently, I purchased a bag made of flour cloth from a sweat shop. It is one of a kind here in the Philippines since it came from a second hand store.

I carry it with me always just in case I feel the urge to grab important stuff from the grocery.  It really saves me from getting swamped by and the store from spending on plastic bags.

But the bag is kind of small and can only accommodate few stuff.

This morning before I reported for work, I grabbed a cup of coffee and Original Glazed donut from Krispy Kreme. As I was prepping my coffee, I saw this cute wash cloth shopping bag sold P100.  So I grabbed one. The size is just right for my groceries and it has a detachable  bottom support that would ensure proper placement of my loot.

Somehow, I am starting to feel involved in the green earth movement.
